You can email sales.enquiries@churchillmaths.co.uk, phone 01905 888179, send a fax to 0845 867 9785 or mail us (see CONTACT page for address). All we need is your school name and postcode, the products you wish to order and ideally an email address for the Head of Maths. If you wish, you can use one of the forms on our ORDER page.
Within a couple of hours we will email login details to you and you can download zipped folders containing the papers and marking guides. The files are all PDFs so it doesn't matter what platform you use. With any purchase you have access to three versions of the papers, for AQA, OCR and Edexcel. For each tier (and each version) there are 5 sets of papers with each set consisting of one non-calculator and two calculator papers.
Yes, all the questions are new and have been written for the 9-1 specifications to meet all the requirements and match the style of questions usually set by the Awarding Bodies.
Many of the same questions are used but the overall make-up of each paper is designed to match that of a particular Awarding Body. For example, only the AQA papers have multiple choice questions and the OCR papers tend to have longer questions and also to award more method marks in places. These differences are reflected in our papers.
As long as the copies are for use within the purchasing institution you can make as many copies as you want.
When you buy the papers, you are actually buying a licence that is for a single school or college to use the papers. If you wish to buy the papers for use in more than one institution, eg. across a multi-academy trust, please contact us for a discounted price for multiple licences.
As long as it is secure and can only be accessed using a password that's fine. Many schools do this so that students can print them off.
As well as papers that look like the real thing we provide short versions without space for students to write in so that they can be used again. If you use these, students answer on blank paper and we provide the diagrams they need to use on "answer sheets". The purpose of the short versions is to save on printing costs.
Just email us from the email address given when the papers were ordered. When this is not possible (e.g. staff changes) please explain this in an email from a school account.
As you probably know, for real papers these are set after marking thousands of student responses. It is therefore not possible for us to set reliable grade boundaries. If you email us we are happy to supply our suggested boundaries but these are not part of the product. We did produce suggested grade boundaries before the first live papers but we have not yet updated these having seen some actual boundaries.
Yes, on the basis that if your tutees are doing our papers at their school you avoid problems such as giving them all the papers when the school might want to use one as a mock.
If you are interested in ordering, please contact us giving details of the intended use. Unless otherwise agreed the licence will only be for use with students you personally teach.
